I was excited to receive this new limited edition palette from all the pictures I saw online. The colors they chose for the packaging are summery ones that reflect the name of the palette. All Sigma Beauty Palettes are different in content with one common factor EYESHADOW! And lots of it!
This palette has 8 eyeshadows, a blush, a liquid highlighter, and a duo pencil liner.
My first impression regarding the eyeshadows is that they’re divided into 2 categories, the neutrals and the vibrant colors, they’re almost all shimmery colors.
The Neutrals: Muse, Fawn, Luna, Topaz.
The Vibrants: Papaya, Moonbeam, Neela, Midori.
Now all 8 eyeshadows have shimmers in them except for Topaz, it has a barely-there amount of shimmer making it an almost matte shadow. All of those shadows are highly pigmented.
I’m very impressed of their new eyeshadow formula, not too creamy nor too powdery, and almost no fallout.
My favorites of the bunch are Fawn, Papaya, and Moonbeam for lower lash line type of eyeshadow.
Heavenly Blush: this is the perfect shade for a summer palette, it will look great on tanned skin or even lighter-toned skin. This blush is very well pigmented and applies nicely too, not very powdery. It’s a nice rosy-peach color and absolutely matte.
Luminesce Liquid Highlighter: A nice golden shade, with excellent texture (I compared it to Benefit’s Moonbeam which was a bit sticky and thicker in texture)
Duo Eye Pencil: 2 colors,
Daydream: Electric blue but comes off as a really bright blue not too electric.
Earth Goddess: A classic dark brown eye pencil.
I’m extremely picky with eye pencils, so I’m a bit apprehensive about this. Although the color payoff is impressive, I’ve yet to see how it stays on after at least a few hours.
Overall, this is a realllllly pretty eyeshadow palette, definitely worth looking into! Will be a perfect gift or a perfect vacation companion!
That’s it for now, hope you guys find this review helpful! Don’t forget to leave a comment!
