Butter London Matte Finish Shine Free Top coat: It’s definitely matte, but when I apply it the nail polish under moves with every brush stroke I feel like the colour base is getting thinner and thinner, so you should either apply it really gently and in light strokes or you’re going to have an uneven nail polish. On the bright side, it dries quickly.

Chanel Top Coat Velvet: I was really disappointed in this one, maybe because I had high expectations for it, it’s too runny/thin so it can form a thick layer of top coat which took a long time to dry. I ended up  taking off the nail polish and reapplying it, it got better so I guess the key is to make sure your base colour is fully dry before applying your matte top coat.

Julep: The winner! I really loved this one. It applies really smoothly, has the perfect consistency, and it dries quickly!

Are you loving matte nail polish? Have you tried any?
